This sign, with digital message capabilities, will strengthen our Fire & Injury Prevention programs by allowing messages such as, "Stop, Drop & Roll", along with reminders to change the batteries in your smoke and CO alarm/detectors. Injury prevention messages will include stroke recognition, like F.A.S.T. exam and heart attack warning signs & symptoms. Other potentially life saving messages that will be displayed are Amber & Silver Alerts. These critical messages will get the information out instantaneously to the thousands of motorists passing by the station on a daily basis.

In conjunction with our Monument sign, your donation will also provide essential funding to purchase additional Advanced Life Support equipment. Equipment needs such as an automated external CPR device, Defibrillator, IV Pump, Ventilator, and other life saving equipment for our new ambulance that will be in service next year are our primary focus.

With Community Risk Reduction programs halted or severely limited by COVID-19, Riverside Fire District has been forced to find alternatives for continuing our outreach activities now and into the future. This sign will allow us to fill that void in our Community Risk Reduction efforts.
